An Autographed Agreement (measures 9" x 11 1/4" [23 x 29 cm]) (Learn More)

John Huston was an actor from the 1920s to the 1980s and began directing in the 1930s. Some of his films include: Asphalt Jungle (for which he was nominated for the Best Director Academy Award), The Maltese Falcon, The African Queen, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, The Man Who Would be King, and Moulin Rouge (for which he was nominated for the Best Director Academy Award). Some of his movies include: Cardinal (in his nominated for Best Supporting Actor Academy Award role), Chinatown, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, Casino Royale, The Misfits, Battle for the Planet of the Apes, and the Black Cauldron AND Robert Wyler was a Swiss/American film producer from 1923 to 1961. He was the older brother of film director William Wyler and a nephew of Universal Studios head, Carl Laemmle. Some of his works include: Roman Holiday, The Big Country and It Happened in Paris
Important Added Info: Note that this agreement has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH John Huston AND Robert Wyler (see our images)! Our consignor purchased this agreement from an auction in New York City. While they did not provide a certificate of authenticity, both our consignor and we feel the signatures are authentic. Note that this agreement concerns the rights to Yves Mirande's play "L'arpete", which was set in the Moulin Rouge in France. Since John Huston made the film Moulin Rouge in 1954, it is quite possible that this play had some connection to that movie.
