Artist: Adolph Triedler Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 28 3/4" x 40 3/4" [73 x 104 cm]. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had a long vertical tear running from the left of the top border down through the girl's elbow, into the background beneath. It had a similar tear down the right side, just to the right of the girl's finger, running down into the blue background. There were small tears and small areas of paper loss around the edges, with a tear in the bottom center, running diagonally to the left through the bottom of the "R" of "HER". Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
