An Original Vintage Autographed Piece of Paper (measures 4 1/4" x 5" [11 x 13 cm]) (Learn More) Natalie Wood was an actress from the 1940s to the 1980s. She is one of the small number of child stars who successfully transitioned to both adolescent roles and leading actress roles. Some of her movies include: Love With The Proper Stranger (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), West Side Story, The Searchers, Rebel Without A Cause (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Miracle on 34th Street, The Great Race, and Splendor In The Grass (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film). Tragically, she died under suspicious circumstances in 1981 in a drowning incident. She was 43 years old. Important Added Info: Note that this piece of paper has been personally autographed (signed) by Natalie Wood! Also note that the item comes with a "certificate of authenticity" from Peter Salamone (the certificate is for both this autograph and a James Dean autograph, but we are solely auctioning this autograph of Natalie Wood). As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: very good.
