Some of his movies include: The Longest Day, Brigadoon, Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines, When Worlds Collide, The Mark (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), and The Comancheros Important Added Info: Note that these letters have been personally autographed (signed) by Stuart Whitman (one was a reply to a letter he received from a fan club president, where he wrote on the back that he hadn't received the check, and then a second letter on Mr. Whitman's stationery saying that he found the check, and the letter is signed "Stuart Whitman" and the note on the back of the other letter is signed just "S"! Note that this lot comes with the printed envelope the letter was originally mailed in. Our consignor ran autograph shows for many years and was an executive director of UACC for many years. He became friendly with many of the stars who appeared at his shows and most of the items from him in this auction are ones where he obtained the autograph in person. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are 100% certain the signatures are authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: very good.
