That poster has now been reconsigned to us, so it is still the only example of this re-release one-sheet we have ever auctioned! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The left and right 1 1/2" of the poster were trimmed off. It was almost completely blank white paper, except for a small amount of the red at the bottom left and bottom right, and a very tiny bit of the "F" of "FERDINAND". Other than the trimming, the poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and a few tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the folds. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was really nicely backed by a talented restorer, and likely no one would realize that there was border replacement unless it was pointed out to them. Learn More about condition grades
