If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster is far more rare than the other 1950s Disney animated features. Perhaps this is because the movie was re-issued so many times, or perhaps there is another reason. In any event, we have only previously auctioned it five times, and the last one sold for $1,210! However, THIS example of the poster was in MUCH lesser condition prior to restoration, so please read the below carefully before bidding on it.

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had uneven paper loss down the left and right of the poster, slightly entering into the left and right edges of the image in the top two-thirds, but then entering into the bottom of the "P" of "PAN", and extending down, removing the "COLOR BY" and removing the left half of the dog and the printing beneath it. It had small tears and tiny areas of paper loss scattered down the vertical fold, with a lesser amount of wear on the horizontal folds. It had smudges and light stains in the white background area at upper center, with some in the other light colored areas. It had a printing defect that caused pink to run across the center of the word "PETER", in between the letters. Overall, the poster was in poor to fair condition prior to linenbacking. Given the poster's really major defects, the restorer did an okay job in that one can display the poster, but you can very clearly see that it has had much restoration, and some of the defects are still noticeable. In addition, the restorer did not put back the "1A" that should have been in the left of the bottom border. As we said, the poster can still be displayed as is, or one could choose to have additional restoration performed, but bear all of the above in mind before bidding.
