An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More) Brooks Robinson is a former professional baseball player from 1955 to 1977 for the Baltimore Orioles. Nicknamed "The Human Vacuum Cleaner" and "Mr. Hoover", he is considered one of the best defensive third basemen in major league history. He was also one of the first two inducted in the Baltimore Orioles Hall of Fame. As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 83! Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Brooks Robinson! Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! Note that our consignor has been a memorabilia dealer for the past 30 years, and he tells us that he is certain this autograph is authentic. In some cases he obtained the autographs in person, and in other cases (like with contracts and agreements), it is obvious the signatures are authentic, but he vouches for the authenticity of every item that he has consigned to us, and we also feel certain that the autographs are authentic.
