An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Campaign Book (measures 9 1/4" x 12 1/4" [23 x 31 cm]; 20 pages) (Learn More) MGM 1967-68, the campaign book ("M-G-M lionpower for 1967-68") detailing the movies being released by MGM for those years including: Where Eagles Dare, Far From the Madding Crowd, The Comedians, The Fearless Vampire Killers, and more! But the best thing about this book is that the inside back cover and the facing page has a 2-page ad for 2001: A Space Odyssey (the page before is solid black and has the teaser quote "The 21st century begins in 1968...". That 2-page ad has a different version of the classic Bob McCall space wheel that includes a large Pan American plane-like spaceship flying toward the space wheel [we think that art was not used on any posters!]). Note that this "Lionpower" studio yearbook section was printed on its own, and it was also bound into the "MGM Annual Report 1967" publication. We have seen an example of this book that was printed on its own, an example bound into an issue of Motion Picture Herald magazine, and also one that was bound into the annual report.
