Sherwood, and Robert Benchley. The magazine had more advertising pages than any other magazine of its time, often for the most expensive companies. In the 1920s, it competed with the New Yorker for the best authors, but in the early 1930s, The Great Depression cut drastically into its advertising, and in 1935, it was canceled and merged with Vogue. But each issue is filled with interesting articles and some of the coolest ads you will ever see! Note that the items in this lot are from the 1990s to the 2000s.
