Original Vintage Standee Movie Poster (measures 18" x 24"; featuring Albert Fisher artwork) (Learn More)

Lena Horne was a beautiful actress and singer, and one of the first successful black African American actresses to achieve success in mainstream Hollywood movies in the 1930s and 1940s. She also had immense success as a musician prior, during, and after her movie career. Some of her movies include: Cabin in the Sky, Stormy Weather, and Till the Clouds Roll By! She passed away in 2010 at the age of 92.

Condition: very good. the standee was clearly never used, as its standee attachment is attached to the back and has never been opened; the standee is made of a heavy cardboard material, which has chipped in all four corners, and to a lesser extent around the edges; there is a small area of small surface paper loss in the top center in the image background; there is a water stain across some of the bottom edge of the standee, but it appears to be solely on the back and is not noticeable from the front; there is some faint smudging in the background areas of the standee; overall, I would think this standee has survived in about as good condition as one could hope, considering its fragile nature and the fact that it is around 60 years old!
