An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) The Meanest Gal in Town, the 1934 Russell Mack small town America romantic comedy ("You'll lose your bridge work laughing at..."; about a famous actress who becomes stranded in a small town, and not surprisingly, she both falls in love and changes the life of many of the residents) starring Zasu Pitts, Pert Kelton, El Brendel, James Gleason, Richard 'Skeets' Gallagher, and Edward McWade. Note that this movie had a most unusual tagline "You'll lose your bridge work laughing at...", and to those who don't know, "bridge work" is a form of dentures, which certainly would seem that they were aiming this movie at older folk (although back then, lots of younger adults lost their teeth early, due to poor dental hygiene)! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fine. This glass slide is in really excellent condition, and we feel that EVERY collector would be happy to own it. It IS possible it may have a MINOR defect or defects, but nothing at all significant. But we bet many dealers would call items in this grade "mint" or "near mint"! Learn More about condition grades
