An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Australian Daybill Movie Poster (db; measures 13 1/2" x 30" [34 x 76 cm]) (Learn More) Ma and Pa Kettle Back on the Farm, the 1951 Edward Sedgwick country bumpkin hillbilly comedy ("Back where the FUN began!"; "There's uranium on the old homestead... and a new baby in the house!"; "It's all NEW!"; "Story and screenplay by Jack Henley") starring Marjorie Main (in the title role as Ma Kettle), Percy Kilbride (in the title role as Pa Kettle), Richard Long, Meg Randall, and Ray Collins NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this daybill was used by The Orpheum theater in Sydney, Australia that originally opened in 1935! The theater featured art deco design, two levels and seating for 1735. The theater was sold in the 1970s and converted into a shopping center. Luckily, in 1986, it was lovingly restored and re-opened as the Hayden Orpheum! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: fair to good. There is a theater snipe glued across the bottom of the poster (the the snipe could surely be removed by a professional restorer, or talented amateur, if one chose to do so). There is paper loss in the upper left edge of the poster and there is a tear and area of paper loss and staining at upper center in the top horizontal fold. There are creases scattered throughout the poster from it being oddly folded at one time. Learn More about condition grades
