An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Circus World (released in the U.S. in 1965 and released in some English-speaking countries as "The Magnificent Showman"), the 1964 Henry Hathaway Spanish/U.S. romantic traveling circus thriller ("Cinerama surrounds you with the greatest thrill-packed story ever filmed!"; "Wild across the world!"; "Dramatically set in all the great capitals of the World... from New York to Hamburg... from Barcelona to Paris... from Berlin to Madrid... this story will capture you completely!"; "World's greatest circus entertainment"; "Story by Philip Yordan & Nicholas Ray"; "Produced by Samuel Bronston"; "Screenplay by Ben Hecht, Julian Halevy & James Edward Grant"; about a circus owner who is beset by disasters as he attempts a European tour of his circus) starring John Wayne ("at his toughest!"), Claudia Cardinale, Rita Hayworth, Lloyd Nolan, Richard Conte, and John Smith NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this movie was one of several that was filmed in Super Technirama 70, which was a 70mm process. In some theaters, a special technique was used to enlarge the picture so that is mimicked Cinerama, and in those theaters, it was advertised as a Cinerama movie! The poster offered here (which is a special "Cinerama" one-sheet that we have never seen before) is from a theater that advertised this movie in that way and had that special technique to enlarge the picture. Condition: good. The poster has diagonal creases at the center of the vertical foldline and some creases, scuffs, and very slight rippling scattered through the poster. There are some faint water stains on the back of the poster that slightly affect the front. This is the sort of poster that responds really well to professional restoration. It is likely that much or all of the creases and scuffs will mostly vanish during mounting, after which the poster will look fantastic. Learn More about condition grades
