An Original 1947 Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Noel Coward's This Happy Breed (released in the U.S. in 1947), the 1944 David Lean English family relationship between-the-wars melodrama ("The quiet immense courage of one family's life"; "A sweeping panorama of living"; written by Noel Coward; about two couples who move into nice houses in an English suburb after World War I, and about what occurs in their lives between that time and the start of World War II) starring Celia Johnson ("Brief Encounter"), Robert Newton ("Odd Man Out"), John Mills ("Great Expectations"), Kay Walsh ("Brief Encounter"), and Stanley Holloway. Note that to no one's surprise, this movie, which combined the talents of Noel Coward, David Lean, and some of the finest English actors of that time, was superlative, but sadly, it is almost completely forgotten today, except by major film buffs.

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one lobby card from this movie, and that was 23 years ago, and we have NEVER before auctioned this title card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good. There are tiny tears and tiny paper loss in the right of the top blank border and someone put tape on the back of that area, and there are small diagonal creases in the right blank corners. Otherwise, the card is in excellent condition!
