An Autographed Letter Matted with a REPRODUCTION Photo (entire display measures 12" x 16") (Learn More) Margaret O'Brien is a former major child star in the 1940s who successfully transitioned to adult roles! Some of her movies include: Meet Me in St. Louis, Jane Eyre, Little Women, Canterville Ghost, and The Secret Garden. She was discovered when her picture appeared on the cover of a national magazine, and she won a nationwide search to find the child star capable of delivering the dramatic performance necessary for "Journey for Margaret", which was her first real role, after a tiny uncredited role in "Babes on Broadway". As of 2022, she is still alive and working at the age of 85! Important Added Info: Note that this letter (which is entirely handwritten by Miss O'Brien in 1988) has been personally autographed (signed) by Margaret O'Brien! It was matted with a REPRODUCTION photo and is ready to frame to make a cool display! Our consignor purchased this matted signature from well known autograph collector/dealer Keith Hurd of Ohio, who has collected for over 50 years and has been selling at shows, including Chiller Theatre, for decades. He has no certificate of authenticity, but we feel certain this autograph is authentic. Condition: very good. The matted photo was placed into a plastic bag, which was taped shut on the back and has a label with the star's name on the front of the top left corner of the plastic bag. This can be easily removed, and then the matted display can be easily put in a standard frame, but we left it in the plastic bag so that it will be better protected while it is on its way to its new owner! Since we photographed it through the plastic bag, this somewhat obscures the image, but the entire display is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
