An Original Vintage Restaurant Menu (measures 10" x 13 1/2" [25 x 34 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More) The Brown Derby was the name for a chain of restaurants in California. The first restaurant opened in 1926, and was shaped like a hat! There were several locations, including one in Hollywood, but sadly they all closed by the 1980s. Important Added Info: Note that this really cool menu shows you just how much prices have skyrocketed since 1935 (an entire steak dinner was $1.50). Also note that The Brown Derby had added a "Chinese kitchen", where the most expensive item was chicken chow mein for $1.00, and that "all Chinese dishes prepared by a Chinese chef"! Condition: good. There is a tear at the bottom of all four pages. Learn More about condition grades
