La Lorraine Pittoresque (literally translates to "Picturesque Lorraine"), the 1920s French train railroad railway travel poster ("Rocher de Dabo - Chapelle St. Leon [Moselle]") encouraging people to use Chemins de fer d'Alsace et de Lorraine (Alsace and Lorraine Railways) to visit the St. Leon Chapel at Rocher de Dabo in Moselle, France. Note that this poster features Maurice Perronnet art of the St. Leon Chapel
Artist: Maurice Perronnet
Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has general fold and border wear with a few tears at top and along portions of the left edge that have been repaired with conservation tape from the back. It has light and fine creases mainly at top and bottom and just a few slightly more noticeable ones in the art. There is an ink pad stamp (dated 1929) at upper right (see our image). It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after a pretty simple linenbacking the poster will look great!
