An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Fast Express, the 1924 William Duncan silent transcontinental railroad train romantic action adventure serial ("Universal Chapter-Play"; "From the short story magazine story 'Crossed Wires' by Courtney Ryley Cooper"; about the building of a transcontinental railroad, and during the course of the serial, Miss Johnson is kidnapped by a masked villain and held at a haunted house!) starring William Duncan, Edith Johnson (William and Edith were real life husband and wife and made several serials together), Harry Carter, John Cossar, Albert J. Smith, and Harry Woods. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this title card is extremely rare. We have never auctioned it before! Note that there is a stamp on the back that reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Michael R. Hawks", who most would consider the premier lobby card collector and expert in the world (and he is still an active collector, looking for the last few items he needs!). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. There is tiny paper loss in the bottom right blank corner. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition.
