Her career spanned a remarkable 70 years, and she solely went by the single name Hildegarde. She was given the nickname "The Incomparable Hildegarde" by columnist Walter Winchell. Some of her works include: The Last Time I Saw Paris, Why Do I Love You and Lady in the Dark. She best known for the song "Darling, Je Vous Aime Beaucoup." Because she was solely billed as "Hildegarde", she can be confused with a different actress, Hildegarde Neff, but there is no connection other than their first name. She passed away in 2005 at the age of 99. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 7 1/4" x 9" [18 x 23 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Condition: very good.
