Date Sold 3/25/2018 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 3 27x41 one-sheets from Clint Eastwood movies (the Where Eagles Dare is a 1973 re-release poster). Clint Eastwood is an actor and director from the 1960s to the present. Initially well-known for his gritty roles, his rugged looks, and famous movie quotes such as "Go ahead, make my day", he has also become a very well-regarded director. Some of his movies include: The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, Unforgiven (which won the Best Picture Academy Award, and for which he won the Best Director Academy Award AND was nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award), For a Few Dollars More, A Fistful of Dollars, Dirty Harry, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Where Eagles Dare, In the Line of Fire, High Plains Drifter, Mystic River (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Million Dollar Baby (for which he won the Best Director Academy Award, and was nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award), Letters From Iwo Jima (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), and many more! Note that the items in this lot are from the 1970s. Note that all three of these one-sheets were glued to a sheet of foamcore. We were consigned a total of 11 of these one-sheets, and we have divided them into 4 lots (3 Schwarzenegger posters, 3 Eastwood posters, 3 war posters, and 2 classics). Some of the one-sheets are separating from the foamcore, indicating they were not glued very strongly, and certainly, a professional or talented amateur could remove them from the foamcore, but please do not bid on them unless you can accept them as they are, or unless you are able to have them removed from the foamcore (and then they could be left as they are, or backed, whichever you prefer). PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE SHIPPING OF THESE POSTERS WILL BE EXPENSIVE, BECAUSE THEY MUST BE SENT IN A VERY LARGE FLAT PACKAGE THAT MEASURES APPROXIMATELY 28" X 42", SO INCLUDE THAT ADDITIONAL EXPENSE IN YOUR BID, SO THAT YOU ARE READY AND WILLING TO PAY THE SHIPPING AFTER THE AUCTION IS OVER.
UPDATED 03/23/2018: Note that the Where Eagles Dare poster is from a 1973 re-release. Condition: fair to good. ALL THREE POSTERS ARE GLUED TO FOAMCORE (see above). The "Kelly's Heroes" poster is in pretty good condition other than being glued. The "Outlaw Josey Wales" poster has much separation from the foamcore in the bottom left. There are stains scattered across the bottom of the poster, with tears below the word "COMMUNICATIONS", and stains in the left of the top horizontal fold, extending into the background. The "Where Eagles Dare" poster has areas of surface paper loss scattered across the bottom border, slightly affecting the bottom of the black background, and affecting the title printed in the bottom right corner. The poster is separating from the foamcore in the top left. Please bear the condition of all three posters and their being glued to foamcore, and the cost of shipping in mind before bidding on them.
