An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More)

Merrily We Live, the 1938 Norman Z. McLeod romantic screwball comedy ("It tops 'Topper' by a hundred howls!"; produced by Hal Roach; virtually an exact copy of "My Man Godfrey", with a gentleman posing as a down-and-out man and taking a job as a butler to a rich society woman!; apparently, audiences did not mind the lack of originality, because the movie was a major box office success!) starring Constance Bennett, Brian Aherne, Alan Mowbray, Billie Burke (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Patsy Kelly, Ann Dvorak, Tom Brown, Bonita Granville, Marjorie Rambeau, Beulah Bondi, Phillip Reed, and Willie Best
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that poster has writing on back advertising a screening of the 1937 Humphrey Bogart movie "Dead End", and part of the writing indicates that it was displayed at the historic Tahoe Tavern Casino! Note also that this poster has never been folded! Some pre-1970 insert posters were folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 insert posters (note that most post-1970 inserts were NOT folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those inserts).

Condition: good. The poster was used as a sign on back (see above and our image). It has associated scuff marks and smudges with several dot stains on front and there is a tear at upper right that has been repaired with tape from the back.
