An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" [20 x 25 cm] Key Book Still (Learn More) Blonde or Brunette, the 1927 Richard Rosson silent Paris France romantic love triangle comedy ("From the comedy 'An Angel Passes' by Jacques Bousquet and Henri Falk"; about a Paris playboy who does not like the new Jazz Age women, and he goes to a small town and finds a young girl to marry, but he goes away on business, and when she returns, she is "jazz crazy" too, and he gets divorced, and gets started up with another woman, but he soon finds he misses his ex-wife) starring Adolphe Menjou, Greta Nissen, Arlette Marchal, Mary Carr, and Evelyn Sherman. Note that Mary Carr became a major star in the mid 1910s around the age of 40, playing the parts of saintly mothers. She continued to make movies (switching to grandmother roles) through the mid 1930s, and then continued with mostly uncredited parts until the mid 1950s. She passed away in 1973 at the age of 99! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still is a key book still, mounted to a linen backing. Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. They had an extra 1" at the left or top, with punch holes, because of how they were stored. Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic. Someone trimmed away the extra 1" from the top of the still. Condition: very good. The top 1" was neatly trimmed off (see above). Otherwise, the still is in nice condition!
