What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was printed on the back of another poster, likely because of the huge paper shortages in England at this time, which caused them to reuse existing posters and print on the back of them. Because this poster was linenbacked, you can't tell what the poster on the back was, but printing from the poster on the back slightly bleeds through to the front in the light colored areas, but it is not very distracting. However, please do not bid on this rare poster unless you can accept the above.
