His Silent Racket, the 1933 Glenn R. Kershner screwball crime comedy short (produced by Hal Roach; in spite of being a comedy short, this movie packed a lot of plot in its 20 minutes!; Finlayson is an owner of a failing store who has gangsters leaning on him, and he desperately wants to sell out, and the answers to his prayers shows up when naive Charley Chase shows up as a potential buyer of the shop, but Finlayson has to trick him into thinking it has a lot of business, and not let him find out about the gangsters; the movie ends with Charley getting an order for 300 uniforms, and then a bomb that the gangsters have left goes off, and after the bomb goes off, the big crowd of people who were milling around are now magically wearing the uniforms!) starring Charley Chase (primarily remembered as a great silent comedian who appeared in 276 movies, most of them comedy shorts, Chase also directed 140 comedy shorts), Muriel Evans, Anita Garvin, James Finlayson, and Eddie Baker

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at the top crossfold and tiny paper loss at the other two crossfolds. It had some fine surface paper loss on parts of the folds, with two extra creases just to the left and right of the top quarter of the vertical fold. It had a few pinholes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
