The night they sneaked out of Sydney Harbor the signals flashed and the mighty hunt began!"; "The night they sneaked out of Sydney Harbor the guns went off and the mighty hunt was on!"; "He was a skipper sworn never to be taken! She was the fuse of his floating time-bomb!") starring John Wayne ("A skipper sworn never to be taken"), Lana Turner ("The fuse of his floating time-bomb"), David Farrar, Lyle Bettger, Tab Hunter ("Another great role for that 'Battle Cry' guy!"), James Arness, Richard Davalos (billed as "Dick Davalos"), Alan Hale Jr., John Qualen, and Paul Fix NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Also note that this still appears in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the still was printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that it WAS printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us (and we have seen this on stills from the 1940s through the early 2000s, so it has certainly been done for an extremely long time)! So it is an original still from 1955, but it was printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: good to very good. There are staple holes and tiny creases in the corners, with a few tiny tears caused by rough removal of staples. The image area is in pretty nice condition.
