Date Sold 1/31/2010Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Presskit (measures approximately 9" x 11 1/2"; contains 6 supplements, and 10 stills) (Learn More) Come To Your Senses, the 1971 Bernard Gunther experimental group encounter documentary ("there's a delightful world all around you and a joyous world within you."; "relax and... 'Come to Your Senses'"; "without physically touching another person, this film allows you to participate on your own in a unique sensory experience."). This movie was the creation of Bernard Gunther, a pioneer of touch relaxation and sensory awakening at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California. He enlisted the help of Lee Mendelson, best remembered as the director of the Charlie Brown TV cartoons, who was a follower of his, to help get a film about his Esalen Institute made. We have no idea why this documentary is not in any database we can find! If anyone knows more about this movie, please email us and we will post it here. Important Added Info: Note that there is no folder in the traditional sense. The materials are in an illustrated envelope, and we think it is likely that they were sent to theaters that way. Also note that we have taken a picture of the envelope of the presskit and four of the stills (less than four if the presskit has less than four stills, of course). We have noted if the presskit contains any supplements, but we do not picture them. All of the presskits are sealed and ready to be sent, and we cannot answer any questions about the contents, especially about what any stills we may have not pictured show. REMEMBER TO LOOK AT THE TOP OF THIS AUCTION TO SEE HOW MANY STILLS ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS PRESSKIT, BECAUSE WE NEVER PICTURE MORE THAN FOUR OF THEM (and we pretty much picked four stills at random). Condition: very good. Note that the vast majority of the presskits we are auctioning this week were carefully stored away for many years, and the stills are usually in really excellent condition. Sometimes the folder that contains the stills has some wear on it, and you should be able to see that in our super-sized image. We give an overall condition grade to each presskit, but remember that almost all of the stills are in excellent condition. Learn More about condition grades
