An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 26 1/4" x 40") (Learn More)

O.H.M.S. (released in the U.S. as "You're In the Army Now"), the 1937 Raoul Walsh English World War I (WWI) military action comedy starring Wallace Ford, John Mills, Anna Lee, Grace Bradley, and Frank Cellier. Note that O.H.M.S. stands for "On His/Her Majesty's Service", which was a common reference in England at that time to any government employees (it was also used in Canada). Ian Fleming used a play on that phrase for the title of one of his books "On Her Majesty's Secret Service".

Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet measures 26 1/4" x 40". Please do not bid on this poster thinking it is 27" x 41".

Condition: good. The poster had paper loss at the crossfolds, creases, smudge, stains, and tears on some foldlines, and a tape stain on the back of the top crossfold. There were many pinholes and tape stains in the corners. It appears that all of the blank borders were mostly neatly trimmed off to around 1/8" from the edge of the image. The person who backed the poster pretty much just backed it as is, doing some very slight touch up in the solid background areas. The poster displays fairly well, but you can clearly see the defects described above. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking.
