We Fought to Free; You Give to Save, the 1919 U.S. post-World War I (WWI) poster ("Methodist Centenary"; "Rebuilding the World") encouraging people to donate, and featuring M.L. Greer art of U.S. soldiers marching with the U.S. flag and falling roses. The American Methodist Centenary celebrated the 100th anniversary of John Stewart's mission to the Wyandot people of Upper Sandusky, Ohio. The celebration was held from June 20th to July 13th at the Ohio State Fairgrounds and took three years of planning.
Artist: M. L. Greer

Condition: good to very good. There is a 2 1/2" tear at upper center and there are some smaller tears of varying lengths along portions of the edges, and some of those smaller tears have been repaired with clear tape from the back. There is a small sticker on back of the upper right edge which has no effect on the front, and there is small paper loss in three corners. It is otherwise in pretty good condition and if after a relatively simple linenbacking the poster will look great!
