(Learn More) Bettie Page (sometimes incorrectly billed as "Betty Page") was a model from the 1950s, who often appeared nude (sometimes in sexy underwear, or in "bondage"), and was one of the very first Playboy centerfolds. She appeared in a few movies, including Teaserama. She completely vanished for many years, and then resurfaced a few years ago, refusing to be photographed, so her fans could remember her "as she was". However, she worked through intermediaries to sell signed photos, so now all her fans have an opportunity to purchase a signed photo of her, something that would have been virtually impossible before she resurfaced. Sadly, she passed away in 2008 at the age of 85. Important Added Info: Note that this trading card has been personally autographed (signed) by Bettie Page! Also note that we have provided an image of each side of the trading card. Our consignor is a dealer who has acquired many autographed items over many decades. He enjoys finding an item with a good image of that star to "pair" it with, so that the owner can frame the signed item together with the item with the good image. Included with the signed item is a 1996 issue of FilmFax magazine. The items could be matted together to create a cool display! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
