He is most famous for his solo non-stop flight from New York to Paris aboard his airplane, Spirit of St. Louis, as well as the kidnapping and subsequent murder of his only son, Charles Jr. There was a documentary about him called "40,000 with Lindbergh" and a one-sheet poster for this survives! Lindbergh passed away in 1974 at the age of 72. Important Added Info: Note that this great news photo has a snipe on the back explaining how Col. Lindbergh was, just for this show, the head of the famous Army stunt trio, "The Three Musketeers" (he was asked to replace Lt. J.J. Williams, the leader, who had died in a crash just two days before), and that they were appearing on "Lindbergh Day" at the National Air Races. Also note that this news photo measures 6" x 8" [15 x 20 cm]. Condition: very good. There is tiny paper loss in the left blank corners and a few other tiny border defects.
