An Unfolded Travel Poster (measures 25" x 40" [64 x 102 cm]) (Learn More)

TWA: Washington, the 1958 airplane airline aviation travel poster ("Fly TWA Jets") promoting travel to Washington D.C. aboard Trans World Airlines, and featuring David Klein art of the Great Seal of the United States exploding in fireworks over the U.S. Capitol building.
Artist: David Klein
Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this travel poster, and that was 7 years ago!

Condition: good. The poster has many small tears in the top 12" of the right border, with paper loss in the top right corner. It has a pinhole in each of the other corners and a crease in the top left corner, with a few other border pinholes and tiny tears in the rest of the borders. It is very fortunate that the defects are in the solid black borders, because after a relatively simple linenbacking, the poster will display really well!
