An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More) Lloyd Nolan was a popular actor from the 1930s to the 1970s. Some of his movies include: A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Guadalcanal Diary, War Comes to America, Peyton Place, The Street with No Name, Seven Waves Away, Bataan, and 'G' Men. He continued working for decades, and in 1968, he had a co-starring role in "Julia", the first TV show to feature a black woman in a leading non-stereotyped role, Diahann Carroll. He passed away in 1985 at the age of 83. Important Added Info: Note that the still shows a great candid image of actors Lloyd Nolan, Buster Crabbe, and John Howard, on the beach in California in bathing suits with two surfboards (the back of the still notes that "the ancient Hawaiian sport of surf boarding has hit Hollywood"!). Also note that there is information about the still printed on the back. Condition: very good to fine. There are a very few faint emulsion scuffs scattered around the edges of the still, but they are truthfully not at all noticeable except when the still is tilted to the light.
