An Autographed 3" x 5" Index Card (Learn More) Don Ameche was an actor from the 1930s to the 1990s. Some of his movies include: Midnight, Heaven Can Wait, and Alexander's Ragtime Band. He is perhaps best remembered for his starring role as the inventor of the telephone in The Story of Alexander Graham Bell. He had notable "comeback" performances in Trading Places, appearing with Ralph Bellamy, Things Change, and Cocoon (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), appearing with Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy. He passed away in 1993 at the age of 85. Important Added Info: Note that this index card has been personally autographed (signed) by Don Ameche. Our consignor is a longtime memorabilia dealer who has purchased autographs several times over many years, and he feels it is very likely that this signature is authentic, but he has no certificate of authenticity.
