An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Fascinating Youth, the 1926 Sam Wood silent romantic love triangle comedy ("From the play by Byron Morgan"; "The Junior Stars of 1926"; a wacky story that starts out very familiar with a rich man's son in love with a Greenwich Village sketch artist, but his father wants her to marry a society girl, and the father gives him permission to marry the poor sketch artist, but only if the son can renovate a vacation resort the father owns; the son stages a contest where Hollywood stars will appear, but when it looks like they won't show, he gets a bunch of his friends to pose as famous stars, but at the end, the sketch artist shows up with REAL famous movie stars, and the resort is a success and the father gives them permission to marry!) starring Charles 'Buddy' Rogers, Ivy Harris, Jack Luden, Roland Drew, Claude Buchanan, and Thelma Todd (Paramount wanted to showcase their fresh new stars, so that is all they billed on the advertising). Not only did Paramount showcase these "Junior Stars of 1926" (led by Charles 'Buddy' Rogers, Ivy Harris, Jack Luden, Josephine Dunn, Thelma Todd, and others) in major roles, but it also allowed them to have some of their top stars appear in cameos, including Clara Bow, Richard Dix, Lois Wilson, and Adolphe Menjou. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. Someone glued two magazine ads for Greyhound buses to the back of approximately one-half of the card, and they do not appear to have much effect on the front, but something was laying on top of the card (perhaps a different card with different ads) that caused this card to become unevenly discolored in the background areas (see our image). There are some pinholes and stains in the borders and in the white background areas. Someone wrote the names of the two stars in pencil in the blank area below the image.
