Sylvan Simon romantic college university comedy melodrama ("Sensational story of a dance hall beauty crashing society's playgrounds!"; about a "low class" beautiful young "taxi-dancer", who meets a rich society college student who is drunk, and he invites her to a school function, and when he sobers up, he doesn't remember her, but she shows up, and is put down by the society girls there, but she wins them over and becomes the most popular girl there!) starring Lew Ayres, Lana Turner (only 18 years-old and in her very first starring role!), Tom Brown, Richard Carlson, Jane Bryan, Anita Louise, Marsha Hunt, Ann Rutherford, Mary Beth Hughes, Owen Davis Jr., Sumner Getchell, Peter Lind Hayes, and Don Castle NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This poster has been professionally linenbacked. It now looks great, and most dealers would describe it as "fine (or mint) on linen". We have noted the defects that were restored below (and feel everyone should always do this!). Many collectors would not be aware of the restoration this poster has had unless it was specifically shown to them! Note that this one-sheet measures 27" x 40 3/4". Please do not bid on this poster thinking it is 27" x 41". Condition: very good to fine. There were minor tears on the foldlines that were mended during restoration, but they are noticeable on close inspection. There were minor smudges in the blank white areas, which were not touched up, but are not very noticeable or dis. Most of the linenbacked posters we sell were restored by the finest professionals. An expertly linenbacked poster will often appear "mint", as its defects have been made to "vanish". We are the only seller we are aware of who always tries to describe the condition of the poster prior to being linenbacked, so you are fully aware of what restoration was performed.
