eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 6h333 LOST TRIBE 15 8x10 stills '49 Johnny Weissmuller as Jungle Jim! Date Sold 4/5/2015Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 15 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More) The Lost Tribe, the 1949 William A. Berke jungle safari adventure action thriller ("Johnny's most savage spectacle of jungle thrills!"; "King of the Jungle stars fights his greatest battles!"; "Based upon 'Jungle Jim' the famous King Features Syndicate newspaper feature") starring Johnny Weissmuller ("as Jungle Jim"), Myrna Dell, Elena Verdugo, Joseph Vitale, Ralph Dunn, and Ray 'Crash' Corrigan (as the man in the really fake ape suit!). Note that Crash Corrigan made a REALLY wise investment in the 1930s, when he bought a "gorilla suit". In many of the movies in the 1940s where there is a fake gorilla, it is played by Crash Corrigan, no doubt because he could supply the suit! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: SUPER IMPORTANT! THOUGH ONLY EIGHT OF THE STILLS ARE PICTURED, THE HIGH BIDDER ON THIS LOT WILL RECEIVE 15 STILLS FROM THIS MOVIE (but realize that on some of these lots with 9 or more stills there may be a few duplicates, mostly on post-1960 lots)! We realize there is an element of gambling to this, but we made only a small effort to find the best stills in these lots, and, if you have any willingness to gamble at all, you may find that you get some great stills that were not pictured! Please do NOT bid on this lot unless you can accept that you are only seeing eight of the stills. Condition: good to very good. Learn More about condition grades
