Ride the Pink Horse, the 1947 Robert Montgomery New Mexico revenge murder crime film noir ("The excitement of desperate adventure! The suspense of relentless man-hunt!"; "Written by Ben Hecht and Charles Lederer"; "From the famed novel by Dorothy B. Hughes"; about an ex-G.I. who gets out of the army and goes to New Mexico, where he is intent on finding and killing the gangster who killed his best friend, but there is a mysterious woman who may or may not be helping him, and there is an FBI agent who wants to catch the gangster before the ex-G.I. can kill him) starring Robert Montgomery, Wanda Hendrix, Andrea King, Thomas Gomez (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Fred Clark, Art Smith (as an FBI agent), Rita Conde, Maria Cortez, Richard Gaines, Harold Goodwin, and Martin Garralaga. Note that this is a highly regarded film noir from the 1940s, even though it is not a well remembered today as some of the more classic titles!

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss scattered in the vertical fold, with a lesser amount on the horizontal folds. It had pinholes around the edges, with paper loss in the top left corner, extending into the edge of the green background. It also had paper loss in the middle of the left blank border, very slightly extending into the green background. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but after it was backed, it was lightly creased in the upper right, which has left a very slight crease in the upper right corner in the green background, but it is truly not very noticeable at all.
