Along with creating alternative movie posters for works such as Dirty Harry, The Evil Dead, RoboCop, My Neighbor Totoro and many more, Moss is notable for his set of posters based on the original Star Wars trilogy. In those posters, Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi are represented using imagery from each film within colored silhouettes of C-3PO, Boba Fett, and Darth Vader. His work has been released by Mondo and is regularly featured in Empire magazine. Artist: Olly Moss Important Added Info: Note that this original art piece has been personally signed by Olly Moss! This original art was given out to the first 6 people in line to the Olly Moss "Paper Cuts" exhibit which was held at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles, California in 2011. No others were created and each of the 6 had a different background/clothes pin color. This was Moss' first solo show and it featured 300 traditional paper cut-silhouettes of characters from popular culture. Someone later framed the art print (see our image) so it will need to be sent in a flat package, so please bear this in mind before bidding. Condition: very good to fine.
