An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Man Bait, the 1927 Donald Crisp silent romantic love triangle rich man/poor girl comedy ("from the stage play by Norman Houston"; about a salesgirl in a department store who hits the owner for getting "fresh" with her, and she is forced to take a job as a taxi dancer [a dancing partner available for a fee!], which was a 10 cents a dance, and then she meets a society guy who falls in love with her, but of course, his family disapproves) starring Marie Prevost, Kenneth Thomson, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Louis Natheaux, and Eddie Gribbon. Note that Douglas Fairbanks Jr. was just 17 when he appeared in this movie (he plays the society guy). In spite of his very famous father, he appeared in around a dozen movies in supporting roles before he got the chance to be a lead actor! Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.

Condition: good to very good. There are pinholes and stains around the edges. The card was used years later to advertise another movie, and that movie was advertised with crayon and pencil drawing on the back, but it does not affect the front. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
