An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 10 3/4" x 13 3/4" [27 x 35 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Reginald Denny was an English actor from the 1910s to the 1960s. He was a top star in lots of 1920s movies including the Leather Pushers boxing series. In 1929, he made his first talkie, and moviegoers discovered he had an English accent! This led to an important career as a supporting actor, including Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House, and he kept acting until the 1960s. He passed away in 1967 at the age of 75.
Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Reginald Denny (he apparently took his contract with Universal Studios very seriously, because he wrote "Yours Universally"). Our consignor is a very longtime dealer/collector who acquired this signed item in the 1970s, and kept it in his collection until now, when he is selling parts of his collection. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this still measures 10 3/4" x 13 3/4" [27 x 35 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Finally, note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock.

As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.

Condition: good to very good.
