Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this title card! Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Also note that this lobby card has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the lobby card was backed onto a very light paper backing (acid-free), that keeps the "feel" of the lobby card similar to that of the original lobby card. Some restorers prefer to paperback lobby cards on to a heavy backing, while others prefer to use a very lightweight backing. The advantage of a lightweight backing is that the card still "feels" like a regular lobby card, but a heavier backing makes restoration easier to do and less noticeable. What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. Prior to paperbacking, the card had paper loss scattered in the left half of the top border, slightly extending into the top left corner of the image background. There was some small paper loss scattered down the right blank border and paper loss in the bottom left corner that very slightly touched the edge of the background. There was a 3" tear near the middle of the right border that went into the shoulder of the man and a crease that went through the woman's face, with some small paper loss in her arm. The bottom 1 1/2" of the card was folded back at one time and there was a vertical fold 4" from the right of the card, with some scattered surface paper loss on that fold. Overall, the lobby card was in good condition prior to paperbacking. The card was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
