An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Hurricane Kid, the 1925 Edward Sedgwick silent cowboy western ("Hoot Gibson and his golden mare"; from the story by Will Lambert) starring Hoot Gibson (in the title role as the Hurricane Kid), Marian Nixon (21 years old in her 7th credited movie role!), William Steele, Arthur Mackley, and Violet La Plante (Laura La Plante's sister!). Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Jack Savage Important Added Info: Note that this is a hand-colored lobby card. In the days of silent movies prior to the invention of good quality full-color printing, studios would have cards printed in black and white and then amazingly would hire women to hand-color them one at a time (apparently labor was very cheap at the time)! So, each card is colored slightly differently, and the coloring is never a perfect match. Condition: very good to fine. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
