The Sea Wolf, the classic 1941 Michael Curtiz seafaring sailor action adventure thriller ("Jack London's great novel of terror afloat"; based on the novel by Jack London) starring Edward G. Robinson (in the title role as the sadistic sea captain, "Wolf" Larsen, who follows Milton's philosophy, "better to reign in Hell than to serve in Heaven"), Ida Lupino, John Garfield, Alexander Knox, Gene Lockhart, Barry Fitzgerald (in one of his most memorable roles, as "Cooky"), Stanley Ridges, Francis McDonald, Howard de Silva, and Frank Lackteen

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: very good. there are some smudges and dot water stains around the edges of the poster and a lesser number of smudges within the image (none within the stars' images); there are surface scuffs to the right of the "E" of "THE" in the title, just touching the right edge of the "E" and the edge of Robinson's head; there is a clean 3" tear in the top center of the poster in the play dates area; there are several 1" tears in the left border; While I could imagine many people framing this window card as is (since the defects are mostly contained to the borders), this window card is an ideal candidate for restoration. A talented restorer could certainly repair the minor border defects and remove most of the surface smudges without putting paint on the poster, and after proper restoration, this poster would look wonderful!
