Because the name of our auction company is "eMoviePoster.com (and we ARE the world's leading auctioneer of vintage movie posters), we regularly discover that some people don't realize we auction more than just "movie posters"! This is SO frustrating to us, because every year WE AUCTION A LOT OF OTHER ITEMS BESIDES MOVIE POSTERS!

Of course, most collectors know that we auction lots and lots of lobby cards, but we were surprised to learn that at least one of our regular consignors did not realize that we also auction lots and lots of stills (he mentioned in passing that he was sad we could not auction his large still collection along with his movie posters and lobby cards, because, in his words, "we don't auction photos"!).

Of course we quickly set him straight (and he consigned his collection), but that got us wondering if there are other people who miss consigning to us (and consign some non-movie poster items to inferior auctions that charge far higher commissions), simply because they assumed we did not auction those types of items.

What else do we auction? We also auction a LOT of other material (besides movie posters, lobby cards, and stills), and some of it is only marginally movie-related, and some not at all! Here are some of the other types of items we auction regularly (and we have a dedicated following of buyers for those types of items, and we often achieve higher prices for them than are seen in places that specialize in those items):

1) War and travel posters (plus any other vintage non-movie posters, and also any "non-standard" movie-related posters)
2) Movie magazines, "exhibitor" magazines, studio yearbooks, and pressbooks
3) Movie & TV scripts
4) Sheet music (movie and non-movie)
5) Movie and stage programs and playbills
6) Coming attraction glass slides
7) Comic books
8) Original artwork of all types including production art
8) Autographed items of any sort
.... and many others!

In many cases, we first began auctioning any of the above types because someone consigned to us an excellent collection of that type of item, and once we began regularly auctioning them, other collectors sent theirs as well.

So if YOU have any of the above, remember that you can consign them to us, and be assured that you will be treated honestly and fairly, and that you will receive a far higher price for your items than you would if you sold them to a dealer in a group.

Please note that we prefer items that are at least somewhat movie-related, and we generally stick to only "two-dimensional" items (and NOT things like toys or games, because of the difficulty of packing and shipping such items), BUT WE ARE OPEN TO TRYING ANY TYPE OF ITEM WE HAVE NOT AUCTIONED BEFORE, ESPECIALLY IF SOMEONE HAS AN EXCELLENT COLLECTION OF THAT ITEM!
