An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded English Double Crown Movie Poster (DC; measures 19 1/2" x 29 3/4" [50 x 76 cm]) (Learn More)
That's Not All Folks!: Cartoons Spoof Hollywood, the 1990s English Looney Tunes animated cartoon compilation about Hollywood movies and stars being spoofed in cartoons. This poster shows a great cartoon spoof of Humphrey Bogart shooting Tex Avery's wolf character from on screen, plus a Bugs Bunny silhouette in the background! Note that Fred "Tex" Avery was one of the greatest legends of Hollywood animation. He started working for Walter Lantz on Oswald the Lucky Rabbit in the early 1930s. He moved to Warner Bros. in 1935, where he became a legend, working on the Merry Melodies and Looney Tunes series, creating or developing the best remembered Warner Bros. cartoon characters, including Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Bugs Bunny, and others. In 1941, after a disagreement, he briefly worked on a series called "Speaking of Animals", where real animals "talked" with animated lips, but he soon signed a contract with MGM, where he did even more wonderful work than before. He developed an entirely new type of cartoon (his MGMs are instantly recognizable as being "Tex Averys"), and they include characters such as Droopy, The Wolf, Red Hot Riding Hood, and many others. He is one of the greatest animators ever, and posters from his cartoons are difficult to obtain, and are highly sought after by collectors!
Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this English movie! Also note that this English double crown measures 19 1/2" x 29 3/4", but it has not been trimmed. Finally, note that this poster was never folded! An unfolded poster is almost always far more difficult to find than a folded poster of the same title, and finding unfolded posters in excellent condition is even more difficult!

Overall Condition: very good. The poster has some very minor border defects and some faint scuffs scattered in the blue background areas. (Learn More)
