An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Juggernaut, the 1936 (released in the U.S. in 1937) Henry Edwards English infidelity mercy killing murder mystery crime thriller ("The 'Horror Man' of the screen without makeup.. In his greatest role"; "From the story by Alice Campbell"; about a medical researcher who desperately needs money to continue his research, and he is offered lots of money by the rich young wife of a wealthy man, but only if he will become the man's doctor and arrange for his passing) starring Boris Karloff, Mona Goya, Joan Wyndham, Arthur Margetson, and Anthony Ireland NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). very good. The top 1" of the poster was folded back at one time. The poster was lightly folded in half an extra time. There was tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and small creases and tiny tears down the vertical foldline. There were creases on the horizontal foldlines and there were creases, smudges, and a few small tears around the edges of the poster. There was a 2" tear in the cheek of the man at lower right. The poster's basically minor defects were corrected during linenbacking, and the poster looks nice, although you can see signs of the restoration from close up. The person who restored the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges. Learn More about condition grades
