A Matted Autographed Limited Edition Art Print (measures 16" x 20 " [41 x 50 cm]) (Learn More) Frank Frazetta was a fantasy and science fiction (sci-fi) artist from the 1940s to 2010, and many consider him the finest fantasy artist of all time. His works has been featured on countless album covers, book covers, and film posters (and some comic books earlier in his career), and he is known for his exaggerated fantasy artwork featuring Conan-like men and super sexy (often naked) women! He briefly worked for EC Comics (E.C. Comics) and early in his career, he "ghost drew" Li'l Abner for Al Capp. He helped create Fire and Ice, the animated movie made by Ralph Bakshi. Some of his paintings have sold for extremely high prices, with some over $1,000,000! He passed away in 2010 at the age of 82. Artist: Frank Frazetta Important Added Info: Note that this art print has been personally autographed (signed) by the artist, Frank Frazetta, and hand-numbered 12/100. It was printed in 1978 by Christopher Zavisa's Land of Enchantment Press, and it was only created in an edition of 100, while many Frazetta signed prints have far great numbers, sometimes 1,000 or more, so this is likely one of the most limited Frazetta hand numbered prints! It is believed that Frank Frazetta's wife, Ellie, posed for this image! It was nicely matted and is ready to frame and hang on the new owner's wall! Also note that this item contains some nudity, so we have placed a white bar over those areas for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual item does not have the white bars.
UPDATED 06/11/2019: Note that the front and back of the matte are glued together around the edges (in no way affecting the print) and this is holding the print in place. The print itself is NOT glued or taped to the matte and could easily be removed. Know that we are not "autograph experts"! We strongly suggest that all bidders do whatever research they want to do about the autographs BEFORE placing bids (such as comparing the signatures to other known signatures found on the Internet). But we also know how hard it is to be certain of an autograph's authenticity when you are not seeing the item in person. So, to make certain that we only have satisfied buyers, we will give anyone who purchases any of these a 30 day return privilege (from the date the auction closes) on any of these autographed items, and of course, that gives every buyer plenty of time to be 100% certain that they have purchased a genuine autograph! But realize that you can't return items AFTER 30 days (from the auction's closing), so be sure to do whatever checking and authenticating you need to do either before the auction ends, or within the 30 days.
