Important Added Info: Note that this movie was first released by Allied Artists in the U.S. But they did not have distribution outside the U.S., so it was distributed internationally by MGM. Posters with MGM as the distributor are from the international release, and those with Allied Artists are from the domestic U.S. release. Also note that this three-sheet was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap. Note that this item (and others we are auctioning in this set of auctions) come to us from the estate of Lee Sanders. Mr. Sanders was a nationally recognized projectionist, film poster collector, and union activist who passed away earlier this year, and the net proceeds from the sale of his varied and eclectic collection will be donated to promote film studies at the Besant School of Happy Valley in Ojai, Ca.
