Stone, and Douglas Fowley. Note that this is one of fourteen movies made in the 1940s with Chester Morris playing the fictional character "Boston Blackie", a former crook turned detective (there had been ten silent movies made in the 1920s), all of which were based on short stories by Jack Boyle. Condition: good to very good. light thin vertical stains throughout each still; pairs of staple holes in each corner; minor scuffs and smudges throughout the stills; one of the stills has changed somewhat to a sepia color as is common with vintage stills; Note that these stills are slightly "bowed" (they don't lay completely flat).
