An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 18" [36 x 46 cm]) (Learn More)

Fast Workers, the 1933 Tod Browning New York City romantic love triangle construction worker melodrama ("From the play 'Rivets' by John W. McDermott"; a really wild story about two construction workers, one of whom is suave and the other one "hates women", and they get involved with a couple of real floozies, and the men get jealous, and the one who hates women ends up dying, and on his death bed, he tells his buddy to swear off women, but as he walks away, he starts flirting with a nurse!) starring John Gilbert, Robert Armstrong, Mae Clarke, Muriel Kirkland, and Vince Barnett. Note that it is interesting that this movie was directed by Tod Browning, known for his horror classics, and this was certainly quite different, and it is also interesting that Robert Armstrong played the suave romantic guy while John Gilbert played his misogynistic companion, which is certainly playing against type!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this window card! Not only that, but we have only previously auctioned a title card and two stills and NO posters of any kind. Unfortunately its bottom 4" of the window card was neatly trimmed off, so almost all of the title is missing. Because the title card we previously sold has a very similar image, it is likely that a restorer could guess as to how the bottom of the card should look, or perhaps an image of another example could be located. Obviously one would prefer to find a complete example of this extremely rare Tod Browning window card, but that might take the rest of your life to find. But please bear in mind the card's considerable defect before bidding. Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14" x 18" [36 x 46 cm]. Also note that this window card was never folded.

Condition: fair. The bottom 4" was trimmed off (see above). It also has nail holes around the edges and some darkening and stains.
